August Farm Project Update!

“From a small seed a mighty trunk may grow.” – Aeschylus

It’s been a formative few months on the farm. In the time since we completed installation, we’ve planted, watered, weeded, and harvested our way from a seedling of a project into an increasingly mighty trunk of a program.

In the past few weeks, despite some blazing hot weather, we are proud to announce that we’ve produced two full days’ worth of salad greens for our nearly 200 Harlem Center for Opportunity residents, and recruited our second cohort of inspired trainees. They’ve been a fantastic team thus far, and we look forward to working together toward a successful second half of our inaugural season.

Stay tuned for more updates as summer winds down, autumn gears up, and our mighty little farm continues to bear the fruits of our labor!

Below are some photos from our most recent harvest. Enjoy!
