Joslyn Carter named Administrator of the Department of Homeless Services

On behalf of everyone at The Doe Fund, we congratulate Joslyn Carter on her appointment as Administrator of the Department of Homeless Services. For more than twenty years, Ms. Carter has stood up for New York’s most vulnerable citizens, working on their behalf in the private and nonprofit sectors, alike. In her new role, the city will leverage her talents where they’re most needed: as a leader in the fight against homelessness and poverty. The Doe Fund commends Mayor Bill de Blasio and Commissioner Steven Banks for their leadership and vision in this appointment. We look forward to working with Ms. Carter and assisting her in her mission to foster a more fair and equitable City for all.
